Community engagement underway
Some
parents attended focus groups in November at Area meetings. These
sessions marked the start of a process to improve on and build a more
effective community engagement process for the CBE. At the focus groups,
parents were invited to subscribe to a circulation list, which is being
used to update interested individuals on this initiative. The list will
also be used to make people aware of opportunities to get involved.
If you would like to be added to this circulation list, please e-mail kldrummond@cbe.ab.ca.
Listening to parents and students
Listening to parents and students is important to us in the Calgary Board of Education.
As
we work to personalize learning for students we also work hard to
listen to what students and parents tell us about how each student
learns best. It is part of how we keep our promise to know our students
and to create learning as unique as every student.
